  Spilled a small part of my starbucks flat white on my laptop keyboard yesterday. Did some minor cleanup, and rushed to best buy for help. The geek squad member (who had absolutely no affect) advised me that it would cost $150 to retrieve data and then I would have to buy a new laptop. His manager concurred, adding, "sure, it's possible it will dry out and work, but I've never seen it." Went home to consider options, my son turned on the laptop ... and it worked. My recommendations: Don't drink coffee while you work. And NEVER, NEVER go to best buy in gaithersburg for help.
